The band’s second album will be available on 2 LP remastered vinyl this spring

Godsmack announces Awake, their smash sophomore album, will now be available for the first time on 2 LP remastered vinyl on May 17th via Republic Records.

Following the multi-platinum self-titled debut in 1998, Godsmack returned two years later in 2000 with an album that exceeded expectations as it featured fan favorites “Bad Magick,” “Awake,” and “Greed.” Building on the breakthrough success of their debut, the sophomore album’s title track earned Godsmack their first Billboard No. 1 hit, and the track “Vampire” earned the band their first Grammy nomination.

Awake will be available on black vinyl and as a limited edition green color with a special etched side only via Universal Music Group’s and Godsmack’s online stores.

Godsmack is currently on their North American Vibez Tour. The second leg kicks off April 9th in Valley Center, California, and will see the group deliver a series of intimate evenings featuring acoustic/electric performances and untold stories in theatres across North America.
