The band’s 30th anniversary home state show is set for March 17th

Fresh off two sold-out shows at The Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York and a four-night, completely sold out, four-night residency at Amityville Music Hall in Long Island, Hatebreed is keeping their 30th anniversary celebrations going. The band knew it was time to bring the party back to its home state of Connecticut and to go bigger and harder than ever.

The Grammy-nominated hardcore icons have announced The March Metal Matinee, set for Sunday, March 17th at noon ET at Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT.

The 30th anniversary home state blowout will be a two-stage event featuring Shadows Fall, Shadow Of Intent, 100 Demons, With Honor, Sworn Enemy, Dead By Wednesday, Eyes of the Living, and Demonscar. It also marks Shadows Fall’s first Connecticut show in a decade, as well.

“This will be a special one,” says Jamey Jasta. “Our biggest home state show ever, with a ton of awesome bands and it’s [guitarist] Wayne’s 50th birthday! This is a throwback to the old hardcore/metal matinees we used to play in the mid-’90s. It will be a yearly event going forward as we’ll also be bringing back the March Metal Meltdown Festival to NJ in 2025. Can’t wait to see everyone there!”

“Thirty years! What a milestone and nothing but gratitude for the fans all over the world for making it possible,” adds guitarist Frank Novinec. “We look forward to seeing you all in 2024. Most importantly in CT!”

With dozens of pit-stirring anthems across their eight catalog albums, Hatebreed is celebrating over two decades of ruthless breakdowns and consistently sold-out shows the world over. Throughout their career, the band has gone from playing basements and backyards to being a featured, must-see attraction on countless festivals like Graspop, OzzFest, Warped, and Download alongside massive high-profile tours.

The Grammy-nominated act remains one of the most definitive live acts in music today and recently celebrated a milestone with their track “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today,” which surpassed 75+ million global streams on Spotify alone while generating over 600,000 global equivalents across all digital service providers making it their single biggest career streaming track of the modern era.

To date, Hatebreed has sold over 1.5 million albums in North America alone.
