Song is from Foregone album
In Flames have shared “Foregone, Pt. 2,” the latest single and video from its forthcoming Foregone album. The track follows the release of “Forgone, Pt. 1” which was released in September.
“While revisiting songs in our catalog like ‘Moonshield’ and ‘Gyroscope,’ I felt we hadn’t done that style for awhile,” frontman Anders Fridén says. “We wanted honor those types of songs which incorporates the Swedish folk vibe, but bring it to the current era of In Fllames. Musically and lyrically it is a continuation of ‘Foregone.'”
The new song arrives in time for the band’s European tour which launches November 12th.
The band’s 14th studio album, Foregone, arrives on February 10, 2023 via a new deal with Nuclear Blast. The set will be available in a variety of formats including CD, four cassette variants including Yellow Green & Blue, 12 different vinyl offerings, such as Red, and a 2 LP picture disc with CD, pocket watch, sticker and 28 page booklet, among others.
