Singer Songwriter Jackson Browne has announced that he will launch a seven date acoustic tour in January 2018. The concerts begin in August, GA on January 6th and end in Sarasota, FL on January 24th.
General tickets go on sale beginning Friday, September 29th with advance presales beginning September 26th at 10 am Eastern time. Accompanying Browne on tour is renowned multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz.
In the midst of the trek, the pop star will be a headliner at Ramble on the Island in Trelawny, Jamaica from January 11-15. Brown will be accompanied by longtime vocalists Alethea Mills and Chavonne Stewart, along with Leisz on guitar, lap steel and pedal steel.
”I had heard about this legendary gig in Jamaica for years, and when I finally got to be there, I realized that nobody could have described to me how really great this thing is,” says Browne. “The music just kept happening, and the brilliance of the collaboration between my two all-time favorite bands…. all the sitting in, made it a unique experience. The fans are really good people, the food is spectacular, and you’re all on a fantastic beach in Jamaica.”
