Video celebrates the sea, sun, and joy of the world

Kenny Chesney has dropped his latest single, “Beautiful World,” from Here and Now Deluxe. The track is one of four new songs on the expanded album that were recorded during the early days of the shutdown.

Longtime collaborator Shaun Silva and his team worked to create a sense of flying through the water in a video that epitomizes the freedom of sailing for so many.

“With ‘Knowing You’ starting to really make its mark,” Chesney offers, “this seems like the perfect counterpart. This is what that person whose gone would be chasing or seeking: that feeling of moving through space and time, the salt air on your tongue and waves hitting your boat as you take your time getting nowhere fast.”

The video for “Beautiful World” is available everywhere now. Shot largely in the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and off the coasts, the quick cut collection brings together a travelogue of postcards – and a song that reminds us how beautiful every single day is, if we’ll just open our eyes and see it.

“It always amazes me, the things I see when I actually look. This world is a beautiful place, and I feel bad for all the people who won’t open up their eyes and take that in.”

Here And Now Deluxe, released 53 weeks after the original, marks a way of extending Chesney’s all-genre No. 1 Billboard 200 albums debut. The dozen existing songs – including the No. 1 title track “Here And Now,” the sensual “Tip of My Tongue” and the glass half full “Happy Does” – are being supplemented by four equally diverse tracks: “Wind On” from David Lee Murphy and Rodney Clawson, “Fields of Glory” from Josh Osborne, Ashley Gorley and Ross Copperman, “My Anthem” from Josh Osborne, Shane McAnally and Jason Gantt and “Streets,” co-written with Tom Douglas.

Chesney will embark on the Blue Chair Bay Rum Presents Here And Now 2022 Fueled by Marathon is set for 19 concerts in 18 cities starting next April. It follows an original 2020 tour that has been postponed twice now due to the pandemic.
