Song becomes first-ever to sweep country Song of the Year Award at publishing awards

Curb Records recording artist Lee Brice’s “One Of Them Girls” makes history as it wins Country Song Of The Year award at the BMI Awards and the SESAC Awards. The No. 1 song was also awarded the Country Song Of The Year award at last week’s ASCAP Awards, marking the first time that one song has taken all three awards in the same year.

“What an incredible and unexpected honor!” shares Brice. “It’s hard to tell when a song is going to resonate with folks the way this one has – I know I speak for myself, Ashley, Dallas and Ben when I say thank you to everyone who listened to and requested our song at Country radio and streamed it online. You all gave it a bigger life than we could have ever thought!”

Brice recently reached multiple RIAA certifications, including recent No. 1 “Memory I Don’t Mess With” being RIAA certified Gold, “Hard To Love” being RIAA certified 4X Platinum, Hey World being RIAA certified Gold, “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce being RIAA certified 2X Platinum, and “One Of Them Girls” being certified 2X Platinum.

The CMA and ACM award winner was also nominated for his first American Music Award in the category of Favorite Country Album for Hey World. The nomination follows his fourth consecutive No. 1 at country radio with his hit, “Memory I Don’t Mess With.”
