Shows were indefinitely postponed due to pandemic

Pearl Jam is set to launch its 2020 postponed North American tour dates in May 2022. The band shares that details are being finalized and will be revealed early next year.

“For nearly two years, the band has wanted nothing more than to play their new music live for you. The whole Pearl Jam team shares your excitement for us all to be safely on the road again together,” they write.

The grunge rockers were set to trek through Europe in summer 2021, but dates were postponed due pandemic-related restrictions. The European leg kicks off with a pair of shows in Amsterdam on June 14th and 15th. Stops include Berlin, Zurich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London, Paris and more before wrapping July 22nd in Prague.

The group returned to performing live shows this fall with an appearance at Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park, NJ and frontman Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA.

The band is the first in several years and since the release of GigatonUpon its release last spring, Gigaton bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart and landed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top 200 in the US. Internationally the album debuted No. 1 in Italy and Austria, Top 5 in Netherlands, Switzerland, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Canada, and Finland and Top 10 in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand.

In September, Vedder released his debut solo single, “Long Way” via Seattle Surf/Republic Records. The song is the first song off Vedder’s forthcoming solo album Earthling, expected in 2022.
