The set will be available on 2 LP this summer

Grammy Award-winning musician and artist Mike Shinoda announces the deluxe vinyl reissue of his sophomore solo album, Post Traumatic. The project is the deeply personal solo album from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda recorded in the months following the passing of Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington.

Originally released in June 2018, the 16-track album included the three songs from the Post Traumatic EP released earlier that year, plus the singles “Crossing A Line” and “Make It Up As I Go.” This 18-track deluxe vinyl re-issue of Post Traumatic includes two bonus songs — “Prove You Wrong” and “What The Words Meant.” Both tracks that were originally released as a limited edition ten-inch single and added to the digital album.

Despite its title, Post Traumatic – which includes collaborations with K.Flay, Blackbear, Machine Gun Kelly, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, and Grandson – is an album about healing. The songs are specific about Shinoda’s experience with loss yet manage to be universally relatable, thanks to their honesty and heart.

The deluxe vinyl 2 LP set will be released on June 14th in three formats, including black vinyl, limited edition orange vinyl, and a limited edition Zeotrope picture disc.

Linkin Park could be reuniting next year. Billboard reports that Linkin Park is considering a 2025 reunion tour with a female vocalist to succeed the late Chester Bennington. The group’s booking agency, WME, is reporting taking offers to see Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Dave Farrell reunite with a singer for a headlining tour and festival dates.

Shinoda recently told Revolver, “Rumors always go around. People always ask what’s next for the band, and the best answer I can ever give anybody is when there’s something to tell you, we will tell you. When there’s an announcement to be made, it will be on LinkinPark.com. If you’re hearing it from somebody else, you can trust that information as much as you want to trust it.”

Linkin Park recently released its first-ever career-spanning collection, Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023). The project topped multiple charts, bowing at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and the Top Vinyl Albums Chart in addition to debuting at No. 2 on the Top Album Sales Chart and in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 at No. 6.
