Many new albums are coming your way this spring

We were the first to bring you that Luke Bryan’s releasing a deluxe edition of Born Here Live Here Die Here on April 9th via UMG Nashville. The country superstar will add six additional tracks to the original 10 track album that includes his latest smash “Down To One.” The new tracks were recorded during the COVID lockdown. Fans can purchase a limited edition t-shirt and box set via his online store.

Lamb of God has set a three disc deluxe edition of last year’s self-titled album coming on March 26th via Epic Records. The 2 CD/DVD set features the full record with two bonus tracks and a live version of the album, along with a DVD performance of the first of their two ultra-successful livestream events from September 2020. The DVD includes a new director’s cut with bonus material. A separate vinyl edition of Lamb Of God – Live From Richmond, VA will also be available.

Carly Pearce is releasing 29, a seven song digital EP on February 19th via Big Machine Records. The EP features “Next Girl”,” her first taste of music since since her late producer Busbee’s unexpected passing in 2019. The set also includes “Show Me Around,” which is a heartfelt tribute to Busbee, and her latest single “Should’ve Known Better.” Pearce has teamed with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne for most of the writing duties that gives off a 90s country vibe.

Pet Shop Boys will release Discovery: Live in Rio 1994 on DVD and 2 CD on April 30th via Rhino Records. The show was recorded towards the end of their 1994 tour of Singapore, Australia and Latin America. Previously only available on VHS, this is the first time that fans will be able to experience this classic concert on DVD and listen to the audio on CDs. A new booklet is included, featuring candid on-tour photographs, an interview by Chris Heath conducted during tour rehearsals, and an exclusive on-tour diary by Neil Tennant.

Cheap Trick will release In Another World on April 9th via BMG. The classic rock band’s 20th studio album will arrive on CD, standard black vinyl, limited edition blue and white splattered vinyl at independent record stores nationwide, and a limited edition picture disc exclusive to Target. All pre-orders get the album’s first single, “Light Up The Fire,” which is available at all DSPs and streaming services.

Def Jam will release the Coming 2 America Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to CD and streaming outlets on March 5th, the same day the film premieres on Amazon Prime in 240 countries and territories. New tracks from YG feat. Big Sean; Bobby Sessions feat. Megan Thee Stallion; and John Legend & Burna Boy feat. Nile Rodgers are included while tapping into nostalgia with classic covers from superstars such as: Teyana Taylor, Public Enemy, and special guests featured in the film.

Lana Del Rey will issue Chemtrails Over the Country Club on March 19th via Interscope/Geffen/A&M. The set features 11 songs and will be offer multiple variations including CD, LP, cassette, Amazon Exclusive Beige LP, Target Exclusive LP with alternate artwork, Urban Outfitters Green LP, and Limited Edition Grey LP and Limited Edition Transparent LP, exclusive to her webstore. A CD box set featuring a 12-page photobook, six lithographs, and an embroidered iron-on patch will also be available.

The Peter Frampton Band will release the instrumental tribute album Frampton Forgets the Words on CD and 2 LP on April 23rd via UMe. The album features ten of his favorite pieces of music, including songs by David Bowie, George Harrison, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz and more. The album’s first single is a cover of Radiohead’s “Reckoner.”
