“Up in Texas” is available now

Grammy-nominated trio Midland shares their newest single “Up In Texas,” a love letter to the band’s native land that pays tribute to Lonestar State legends, classic Texas sound and iconic sites and sights. Produced by Midland themselves, the new track delivers more of the band’s signature three-part harmonies, steel guitar and vintage yet fresh sound that fans line up to hear.

The track, also the namesake of their recently announced tour, was written by Midland’s own Jess Carson and Cameron Duddy along with Josh Osborne and Bryan Simpson. With no shortage of pride for the land in which the band was formed, the new track will go to Texas radio today.

“‘Up in Texas’ might be an ode to the place where we formed as a band, but it is meant to be blasted from a dusty old jukebox anywhere on the planet,” states Midland’s Jess Carson.

“It’s a Lone Star anthem honoring the people, places and personas that have made the state a lil’ bigger than the rest,” adds Midland’s Mark Wystrach.

The new single comes on the heels of their recent release of a cover of Glen Campbell’s beloved “Wichita Lineman.”

Earning a reputation as a wickedly entertaining live act, selling out the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater multiple times, Midland will set sail on its very own The Last Resort Cruise in 2024. The group’s Up in Texas 2024 Tour kicks off in San Antonio in February.
