The star will celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary in California

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of his album, You Are The Quarry, Morrissey has announced that he will perform the album in its entirety plus fan favorites with two special shows in Southern California in January. The performances will take place at Honda Center in Anaheim on Friday, January 26th and Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 27th, and will mark the only album shows worldwide. She Wants Revenge will join as special guest.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, December 8th at 10 am PT via Ticketmaster.

Morrissey’s influence and music legacy is irrefutable. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures and greatest lyricists in music today, Morrissey has 13 solo studio albums, a string of No. 1 records, and an Ivor Nostello Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music British music.

As lead singer of The Smiths, Morrissey helped shape musical history with only four albums. As a soloist, he has consolidated a sound that reverberates today as one of the most acclaimed voices of the last four decades. When the debut single from The Smiths, “Hand In Glove,” first emerged 40 years ago, the musical landscape was forever changed and launched a rich catalogue of songs that includes anthems such as “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?,” “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out,” “Suedehead,” “Everyday Is Like Sunday,” “Irish Blood, English Heart,” “First of the Gang to Die,” and many many more.
