Norah Jones has announced 20th anniversary editions of her debut album, Come Away With Me, set for multi-format reissue on April 29th.
The 3 CD and 4 LP 20th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition is a remarkable 44-track collection that captures the emergence of a singular talent and reveals for the first time the full story of the making of this now-classic album.
In addition to a remaster of the original album produced by Arif Mardin, the Super Deluxe Edition also includes 22 previously unreleased tracks, including her early demos and the never-before-heard first version of the album she made with producer Craig Street, which offers a fascinating look at the album that might have been. The remastered 20th Anniversary Edition CD and LP captures the nostalgia of the now-classic album all the same.
Single CD and LP editions featuring the remastered original album will also be available.
Jones’ seminal debut album became a global phenomenon reaching No. 1 in 20 countries, selling nearly 30 million copies, and sweeping the 2003 GRAMMY Awards with eight wins, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
