DeMarcus Family Rules is available to stream now
Netflix Original reality series DeMarcus Family Rules, starring Rascal Flatts’ bassist Jay DeMarcus alongside wife, national television personality and multiple beauty pageant title holder Allison DeMarcus is available to stream now. The unscripted and humorous series is a candid look into the DeMarcus’ everyday, but by no means conventional, life in Nashville, TN with their two children Madeline, 9, and Dylan, 8. Produced by Maverick TV USA, All3Media America, and Todd Chrisley Productions, with John Hesling, Simon Knight, Todd Chrisley, and Scott Teti serving as Executive Producers, the six episode debut series sees the DeMarcus family write their own rules.
DeMarcus Family Rules is already garnering praise as E! News declares “Jay DeMarcus and his family are about to be reality TV’s next obsession” dubbing the show “not your average unscripted project.” The new series has also been highlighted as a must-see by Washington Post, Toronto Sun, Atlanta Journal Constitution and more. The DeMarcus Family also shared more behind their excitement for the show launching exclusively with Entertainment Tonight.
Jay DeMarcus is the bassist, pianist, harmony vocalist, songwriter and producer of superstar vocal group Rascal Flatts. Rascal Flatts have racked up 17 No. 1 hits, over 23.4 million albums sold, 35 million digital downloads, 2.2 billion streams worldwide, while also selling over 11 million concert tickets and earning more than 40 trophies from the ACA, ACM, AMA, CMA, People’s Choice and more, making them the most awarded country group of the past decade. Last year, DeMarcus released his debut memoir “Shotgun Angels: My Story of Broken Roads and Unshakable Hope.” DeMarcus also recently launched his own Christian music label, Red Street Records. A GRAMMY-winning producer, DeMarcus has worked with such acts as the legendary band Chicago, Ronnie Dunn, Kix Brooks, Shenandoah and Reba. DeMarcus was also honored this year for his work producing Jason Crabb’s album Unexpected which was named “Best Roots Gospel Album” by The Recording Academy.
DeMarcus and his band were forced to cancel their farewell tour due to COVID-19. The superstar trio was set to call it quits following the trek and 20 years together. Due to the pandemic sidelining the tour, DeMarcus says it may not be the end of the road for the band after all.
“I don’t know what the tour is gonna look like. We don’t know when it’s gonna happen. I don’t even know if it’s gonna be a farewell tour,” DeMarcus shared with Access Online. “Who knows what’s going to happen? I just know that we’re waiting to see. I’m not saying it’s not going to be, but we’re waiting.”
