Star wraps solo tour in Seoul

Suga wrapped his Suga | Agust D Tour ‘D-Day’ last night (Sun, Aug 6th) in Seoul, Korea by teasing a BTS reunion. Towards the end of the final night of three encore shows in the city, a video portraying various moments of all BTS members reminded the concertgoers how the septet will always be together with the fans. Upon closing, Suga delivered a heartfelt message.

“Thank you all for being with me today. The next time I perform on stage, I will be with all our (BTS) members as seven,” he shares. “I wanted to express how grateful I am to all of you.”

At the end of the final show, Suga made an exit through a door, symbolizing both the end of the world tour and the beginning of his new journey.

Special surprise guests from BTS joined Suga on stage for all three days. On the first day on August 4th, Jung Kook performed “Burn It” with Suga, and staged a solo performance of his latest single “Seven.” Jimin appeared on August 5th, performing “Tony Montana” as a duet and a solo stage for “Like Crazy.” On the final day, RM staged “Strange” and showcased an unreleased music for the fans.

Additional special moments for the encore shows include, a video of Suga’s previous performances playing on screen during “Life Goes On.” Suga also showcased a new stage for “Snooze” with an electric guitar, instead of the piano he played for the previous shows, and debuting “Dear My Friend” from his mixtape D-2 for the first time.

The K-pop superstar performed to more than 330 thousand people over 28 shows in 10 cities around the world on the trek. The setlist comprised songs from his solo tracks from BTS’ discography as well as his latest solo album D-Day and past solo mixtapes Agust D and D-2.

BTS began their second chapter with the members’ solo projects alongside group works. The members of BTS has been unveiling their solo projects that show their own colors, sharing their music and characters on their own terms. The group is scheduled to reunite after each fulfills their mandatory military service commitment to South Korea in 2025.
