Song claims No. 1 spot on multiple global charts
Following the release of the action-packed music video for “Kill Bill,” Top Dawg Entertainment’s Grammy Award-winning recording artist Sza releases a four-track bundle for her No. 1 Global 200 hit song. The bundle consists of the original, sped up, instrumental and vocals versions.
In the Christian Breslauer-directed visual, which features a cameo from actress Vivica A. Fox, Sza plays the protagonist seeking revenge from an unscrupulous lover. Upon its release, the video was trending No. 1 on YouTube.
In addition to owning the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Global 200 this week, “Kill Bill” claims the top spot on several Apple Music and Spotify charts globally and No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Kill Bill” is also the No. 1 most added song at both Top 40 and rhythm radio and No. 3 at urban.
The genre-blending SOS still rules the Billboard 200 chart with four consecutive weeks at No. 1, the first album by a woman to do so since Adele’s 30 and the first R&B* album by a woman to accomplish this feat in nearly 30 years. The release of the “Kill Bill” bundle follows the January 5th release of two new digital versions of SOS which included bonus tracks “PSA” and a solo version of “Open Arms” via Top Dawg Entertainment’s webstore.
