Singer and actress is sister of Toni Braxton
Actress and singer Traci Braxton has passed at the age of 50. Braxton, the sister of singer Toni Braxton, died Saturday (Mar 12th) after a battle with cancer.
“It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci. Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly,” her family shares in a statement. “Traci passed this morning as the snow was falling, our angel is now a snowflake.”
She was best known for Braxton Family Values, which she appeared alongside her siblings Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Michael. Braxton appeared in films such as Sinners Wanted and Chaaw. She was also a singer who recorded “Last Call” in 2014, and “Broken Things” with her sisters in 2018.
The family asks for privacy during this difficult time.
