Travis Tritt is set to release his first-ever gospel album, Country Chapel, on September 15th via Gaither Music Group. The label shared the news on social media, confirming a new single and pre-orders are coming this week.

Captivating audiences with authentic renditions and powerful testimonies of redemption, this heartfelt album pays homage to Tritt’s formative years within the comforting embrace of the Country Chapel.

“I’ve wanted to make this album for over thirty years!” Tritt shares. “I hope and pray that everyone who hears it will be inspired and encouraged through Jesus Christ. He loves us all so much!”

Pre-sales begin tomorrow (Fri, July 21st) with the release of “When God Dips His Love in My Heart.” Building anticipation, “Like the Father Loves His Son,” which was written solely by the country star, will be released on August 18th. Finally, on September 15th, the soul-stirring track, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine,” will be unveiled, serving as a testament to Tritt’s remarkable musical journey and unwavering dedication to the Gospel genre. The set also includes a cover of Kris Kristofferson’s “Why Me.”

Country Chapel follows the release of Proud of the Country, an album that led Tritt to a recording deal in the late 1980s. Tritt’s last album of all original new songs, Set In Stone, was released in 2021.
