TRI.BE, Universal Korea’s first K-Pop idol girl group, reveals their first-ever mini-album, Veni Vidi Vici, via Republic Records. The red-hot global rookie has already inspired worldwide anticipation and delivers five new tracks on the project — each spanning unique sounds and genres.
Among many highlights, “Would You Run” sees TRI.BE level up and elevate with energy and spice. It proves both eye-catching and ear-catching powered by a brass riff, suspenseful groove, and dynamic rhythm complementary of their signature “out-of-this-world” performances. “Lobo” likens TRI.BE to a pack of wolves unafraid when together, while “-18” explores the wishes and dreams of the under-18 members, HyunBin, SoEun, and MiRe. Elsewhere, SongSun, Kelly, JinHa, and Jia serve up moody and powerful vocals on “Got Your Back.” Finally, “True” pays homage to their fans as an expression of gratitude and love. Once again, they teamed up with producers S. Tiger and Elly to seamlessly expand their signature sound.
They notably paved the way for the project with “Doom Doom Ta” and “Rub-A-Dum.” Together, the songs have amassed over 10 million-plus streams and counting, increasing excitement for the arrival of more music now. The mini album translates to “I came, I saw, I conquered” in Latin. It represents the girls’ commitment to blazing a trail of their own by conquering unexplored musical universes.

Five months since making their debut, TRI.BE has already eclipsed 10 million-plus music video views, ranking within the top tour Rookie Korean artists in the 2021 KKBOX Mid-year charts. Not to mention, their second single album, Conmigo, has amassed five million-plus streams and counting. Bong Mines Entertainment described the singles as “irresistible” and highlighted “TRI.BE’s eclectic charisma as they continue their boundary-breaking rise.”
The first-of-its-kind quadrilingual group, TRI.BE consists of seven members — Songsun, Jinha, Hyunbin, and Soeun hailing from Seoul, Kelly and Jia from Taipei, and Mire from Tokyo — and speaks and sings in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Earlier this year, they teamed up with one of the most famous K-Pop producers in the world, S.Tiger [Beast, IU, 4Minute, Momoland, Exid, T-ARA, Apink, HyunA], for the two debut tracks on TRI.BE Da Loca, generating five million-plus streams right out of the gate.
TRI.BE’s name comes from the combination of the words “triangle,” which signifies the most perfect shape, and “being,” leading to the slogan, “We are perfect as we are.” The group conveys the message of self-love and confidence by unapologetically flaunting their key concept of “Girl Swag.”
