U2 records special single at Third Man Records in Nashville

A special vinyl single is coming soon

U2 is releasing a special stripped down live version of its latest single “Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way.” The group stopped by Jack White’s Third Man Records store front in Nashville Sunday (May 27th) night, following a performance the previous night at the city’s Bridgestone Arena on their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour 2018.

“When you think you’re done, you’ve just begun…’ Down at Jack White’s @thirdmanrecords in Nashville, recording a live version of ‘Love is bigger than anything in its way…’ Special limited edition vinyl coming soon. Thank you #Nashville,” the group wrote before going live on Facebook.

The single, will be the first-ever direct-to-acetate live recording from the group in the Third Man Records storefront. No word on when or how fans can pick up the special single.

“Thank you Jack White and Third Man, right here,” Bono says following the four minute live video that included a false start.

On Friday (May 25th), the group released a remix of the track with Cheat Codes. The audio can be streamed or downloaded with the video available on Tidal.
