Rapper nominated for two 2023 Grammy Awards

Atlanta-based Grammy nominated Queen Of Da Souf rapper Latto ends the year with “Another Nasty Song” via RCA Records. This long awaited release by fans follows her dropping the turn-up anthem “FTCU” featuring Grammy nominated GloRilla & Gangsta Boo. Directed by maliaSHUTup, the accompanying “FTCU” visual shows Latto and Glo showing out and going up in the club.

Latto is closing the year with two 2023 Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Melodic Rap Performance for “Big Energy (Live)” in addition to winning awards for Best New Artist at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and BET Awards. Recently, the 3x AMA nominee and 4x VMA nominee presented at both respective shows and was announced with the honor of the Breakthrough Artist Award for the 2022 Variety Hitmakers.

In March of this year Latto released her critically acclaimed album 777 that debuted in the top 20 at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and top 10 at No. 6 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart. Her latest project includes the electric single “Wheelie” featuring 21 Savage, her top 10 Billboard-charting hit single “Big Energy” (plus the “Big Energy (Remix)” with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled) and her melodic track “Soufside,” which paid homage to her roots in ATL. Latto also released “Pussy,” a reply to the overturning of Roe v. Wade. She recently went on her first headlining tour this past year, The 777 Tour, and she just wrapped up being a guest on Lizzo’s The Special Tour, which has a second leg starting next year that she’s already confirmed for as a guest.

With over one billion streams worldwide across all platforms and accolades continuing to rack up from her success, it’s clear that Latto has set the stage to become a global superstar.
