Ashanti & Ja Rule join ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ 2022

The pair will perform from Times Square

Ashanti and Ja Rule have been added as Times Square performers for Dick Clarkโ€™s New Yearโ€™s Rockinโ€™ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022, following LL Cool J and Chlรถe’s canceled appearances due to COVID-19. They join Journey and Karol G from the flagship New York City midnight countdown location. ABC will be airing the 50th anniversary the most-watched New Yearโ€™s Eve celebration nationwide live December 31st at 8 pm EST/PST on ABC.

Soaring by double digits year over year, last yearโ€™s late-night telecast attracted 18.4 million Total Viewers and ranked as the highest-rated musical special of 2020 among Adults 18-49.
