Stadium shows are in spring 2019
Garth Brooks has announced two more stadium shows on his Garth Brooks Stadium Tour: Gainesville, FL and Pittsburgh, PA. The Gainesville concert will be Saturday, April 20th at 7 pm at University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, marking the first Ben Hill Griffin Stadium Concert in 25 years. The Pittsburgh concert will be Saturday, May 18th at 7 pm at Heinz Field. The tour is presented by Amazon Music.
Brooks is going with in-the-round staging for the stadium run. Tickets for Gainesville will be on sale Thursday, November 29th at 10 am EST with Pittsburgh going on sale Friday, November 30th at 10 am EST. There will be an eight ticket limit per show. Tickets can only be purchased at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or either Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. Please note there will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on either on sale date.
Tickets for Gainesville will cost $82.35 plus a service charge of $7.25 and a $5.35 tax for a total of $94.95 while Pittsburgh tickets will cost $76.79 plus a $4.00 facility fee, a service charge of $7.25 and a $6.91 tax for a total of $94.95. All seats sold are best available.
Brooks’ first two stadium dates, St. Louis and Glendale, AZ, went on sale last week. St. Louis sold out within 12 minutes, setting a record for any concert in the history of The Dome at America’s Center. Over 70,000 tickets were sold for St. Louis.
Last month, Brooks announced the three year stadium trek at a press event in Nashville. The tour is expected to hit 10-12 cities per year with Brooks performing one-off shows in each city instead of multiple dates like his previous arena treks.
Recently, Brooks sold out the first ever concert at Notre Dame Football Stadium. The concert, Garth: Live at Notre Dame! was filmed for television and will air on CBS on Sunday, December 2nd at 8 pm ET/PT.
Brooks’ five-part The Anthology Part III, LIVE, is out today (Tues, Nov 20th). It’s an exciting, detailed, insider look at the electrifying concerts of Garth Brooks, with behind-the-scenes stories, insider secrets, and interviews with band and crew. It contains five CDs with 52 live recordings, never before seen photographs and ten augmented reality experiences that can be seen on the Garth Live app. It also includes the new live album, Triple Live. It’s the soundtrack of the record breaking, number one tour in North American history.
