Show is June 25th

Garth Brooks has sold out his June 25th show in Edmonton, Canada, selling 61,000 tickets in 45 minutes. The concert will be at Commonwealth Stadium.

This will be the country star’s first time at Commonwealth Stadium and the only Stadium Tour appearance in Canada. More than 160,000 fans attended the Edmonton arena concerts in 2017.

Later Friday afternoon, Brooks teases that an additional show may be added.

“CANADA! The way you showed up today was AMAZING. We have talked to radio, Ticketmaster, and the stadium. I have especially heard from YOU!!!!Please watch for a statement Monday morning from myself and the touring team,” he writes.

Two cities are left to be announced as the Stadium Tour concludes with five sold out shows in Dublin, Ireland this September. Four hundred thousand tickets sold out within four hours, marking a new milestone for the country star who hasn’t performed in the city in 25 years.

Since the tour began in March 2019, Brooks has broken 24 attendance records and has sold an average of 90,000 tickets in each city. His largest single show so far on this trek is Baton Rouge with a sell out of 102,000 ticket sellout in two hours which registered as a small earthquake during “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”

Brooks will make good on a promise to return to Notre Dame this spring after selling out the famed venue in October 2018.

He recently sold out his first-ever headlining appearance at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX which prompted standing room tickets to be offered at half price. Additional shows were added in Nashville (which we attended), Cincinnati, Charlotte and Foxborough. They were among the six cities that were canceled due to rising COVID cases last summer.

Next month, Brooks is returning to Salt Lake City for two more shows after selling out the venue in less than 30 minutes in 2021. The second show is Saturday, June 18th and sold more than 50,000 tickets in 45 minutes before quickly selling out last week. Overwhelming demand prompted a new show for June 17th which sold out 40,000 tickets in 40 minutes.
