J-Hope In The Box to be released Feb 17th
A new Hybe Original documentary film, J-Hope In The Box, is set to be released globally on Weverse and Disney+ on February 17th.
Starring J-Hope of 21st century pop icons BTS, the film sheds light on his journey as a solo artist. It captures the creative process of making his first solo album, Jack In The Box, and unreleased behind-the-scenes of every footstep he took during approximately 200 days of his journey. Through the film, the global audience will be taken to his private listening party, Lollapalooza headliner stage as the first Korean artist and more.
Jack In The Box marked the first BTS member to release a solo project as it focuses on “BTS’ chapter 2.” Last year, the K-pop superstars announced its members would pursue solo projects while “remaining active as a group.”
Last June, BTS released Proof, a three disc anthology album that celebrates the nine years of BTS’ journey since their debut, and opens a new chapter upon their tenth year as artists. The project — featuring new tracks, members’ selections, demo versions, unreleased tracks and more — garnered the group’s sixth No. 1 album atop of the Billboard charts with 314,000 equivalent sales in the US driven by CD sales in multiple configurations.
