“Like I Love Country Music” tops radio charts around the world

Multi-Platinum entertainer Kane Brown has earned a worldwide No. 1 single this week with “Like I Love Country Music,” his eighth chart-topping record on the country radio charts. Brown, who has garnered nearly 12 billion career streams to date, also earns his fastest rising single with “Like I Love Country Music.” Additionally, the song topped the Australian and Canadian radio charts this week, marking Brown’s first four week run at the top of the Canadian charts.

“I wrote ‘Like I Love Country Music’ with Jordan Schmidt, Taylor Phillips, and Matt McGinn out on the road a few years ago,” Brown says of the track. “We recorded it in 2019 and never put it out. I always loved the song so I went back into the studio with Dann Huff and we re-cut it for my new album, Different Man. I’m really proud that we were patient enough to get the song right. Thank you to country radio, my promo team at Sony, my fans, my co-writers and publishers, and everyone who is a part of it. Also I’m especially grateful to Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks who added their vocals to the song, which made it complete.”

“Like I Love Country Music” is the follow-up to Brown’s No. 1 hit “One Mississippi,” and the second No. 1 single to come from his upcoming highly-anticipated album, Different Man, out September 9th. After previewing new music for fans online last week, this morning Brown released an additional track from the album, titled “Go Around,” ahead of his upcoming performance of his single, “Grand,” on August 28th at the MTV VMAs. He’s the first male country artist to perform at the multi-genre show.

Following the release of Different Man, Brown’s Drunk or Dreaming International Tour will kick off in Melbourne, Australia on September 17th before continuing throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and Europe. The Drunk or Dreaming Tour marks the first time Brown will tour Australia and New Zealand, and make his long-awaited return to Canada and Europe.
