Nancy Wilson announces RSD exclusive ‘You And Me’ double vinyl

Set will be available Nov 26th

Nancy Wilson of Heart has announced a special double transparent blue vinyl edition of her first ever solo album, You And Me, for this year’s Record Store Day Black Friday event on November 26th. This special deluxe version will include three never before released bonus cover songs from The Beatles and Steely Dan. The album will be available at select independent record stores around the world with only 2,000 pressed worldwide. It’s considered an RSD First and may be available elsewhere in the future.

Wilson is set to join the Seattle Symphony for a special concert featuring original arrangements of these newest songs from You And Me as well as hits from Heart’s extensive catalog. The concert was originally scheduled for July was postponed to this later October date as a response to increasing inquiries regarding larger in-person audiences, the feasibility of which is dampened by current restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic.

The release is one of nearly 150 that will be available at select independent record stores worldwide. It was initially left off of The List that was announced earlier this week so Wilson could announce it individually. Aerosmith, U2, Fleetwood Mac, Poison, Jimi Hendrix, Lana Del Rey, Alice Cooper and more are among the artists releasing special limited edition releases this Black Friday.
