Event begins Jan 27th

K-Pop phenomenon NCT 127 will be celebrating “127” Day, a special anniversary for NCT 127 and their fans on January 27th with a virtual event on Roblox, a global immersive 3D platform that is reimagining the way people come together to connect, create and express themselves through interactive shared experiences.

The free interactive virtual concert performance – The NCT 127 Concert Experience – is the first concert in a dedicated k-pop experience on Roblox. Fans will be able to watch the band perform a setlist including hit singles “Kick It,” “Sticker” and the title track from the band’s latest studio album 2 Baddies in an immersive virtual setting. With nine band members performing virtually, the concert also represents the largest ever official group performance by any band on Roblox.

In addition to the concert, The NCT 127 Concert Experience will feature limited avatar item drops inspired by the band’s iconic looks and dances IRL, a neon Seoul city-themed environment and obstacle course, and a metaverse scavenger hunt spanning multiple popular Roblox experiences.

The NCT 127 Concert Experience, created in collaboration with development studio Dubit, is available now and free virtual performances by the band will run from January 27th through the 29th.

“127 Day is so special to us because it is all about connecting with our amazing fans from around the world, and what better way to do that than to perform to millions of you all at the same time on Roblox. Wherever you are in the world, come and join us for a concert performance like no other on January 27th and experience NCT 127 like you’ve never seen us before!” shares the boy band.

NCT 127 recently announced their upcoming release “Ay-Yo,” a repackaged version of their fourth studio album 질주 (2 Baddies). Arriving on January 30th, “Ay-Yo” will feature three new tracks, including its title track by the same name. The physical album is set to release on March 3rd in the US.

The group recently spoke about their excitement regarding the release in an exclusive interview featured during CNN’s New Year’s Eve special. The repackage arrives four months following the original release of 질주 (2 Baddies) this past September. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making the group only the second K-pop artist in history to land three albums in the Top 5.

In December, NCT 127 announced that they would be touring the US and South America with arena stops across the United States, Chile, Columbia, and Mexico, as well as three back-to-back shows in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The US portion wrapped last week, and the South American run begins January 18th in Sao Paulo, Brazil and concludes on January 28th in Mexico City, MX. These upcoming live dates are a continuation of NCT 127’s world tour, following performances at iconic venues in Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Manila, and more.
