Award-winning multiplatinum Australian singer and songwriter Sia will reissue her breakthrough third album, Colour The Small One from Astralwerks, on vinyl for the first time ever April 1st. Twelve years since its original release, the pressing will be available in a special white-colored vinyl. In addition, record of the month club Vinyl Me, Please will be offering their members an exclusive grey variant, limited to 650, foil-stamp numbered copies.
Colour The Small One will also be available as a digital deluxe package on April 1st. In addition to remastered versions of the album’s original twelve tracks, this release also includes special remixes and previously unreleased songs: “Lucky,” “So Bored,” “Numb (Cosmos Remix),” and “Breathe Me (Mr Dan Remix).”
Colour The Small One proved to be a turning point for Sia. Its centerpiece, “Breathe Me,” would soundtrack the riveting finale of HBO’s Six Feet Under and go on to land numerous placements including The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show and Orange Is The New Black, ultimately earning the track a platinum certification from the RIAA. The track listing includes favorites “Don’t Bring Me Down” and “Where I Belong.” At the time of release, E! Online described it as “An album that is as lovely as it is seductive.”
Most recently, Sia’s This Is Acting bowed at number four on the Billboard Top 200-her highest entry yet. Over the course of her illustrious and impactful career, she has received two Golden Globe Award nominations, five Grammy Award nominations, and won six ARIA Awards including the 2015 honors for “Songwriter of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for “Chandelier.”
