TOMORROW X TOGETHER has unveiled the track listing of their fourth EP, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child through their official social media channels. The EP contains five songs that depict the complex emotions that accompany a breakup.
The four previously released versions of concept photos, Mess, End, Hate and Tear, interpret heartbreak in its multifarious nature. The set’s lead single, “Good Boy Gone Bad,” seems to imply yet another transformation for Gen Z’s “it” boys to undergo.
Notably, each member of the K-pop group has made creative contributions to all five tracks. Yeonjun made his return as rapmaker for “Good Boy Gone Bad,” following his contribution to “LO$ER=LO♡ER” from The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape. Taehyun and Hueningkai wrote lyrics for “Opening Sequence” with Yeonjun and Taehyun penning “Trust Fund Baby” together, and Yeonjun and Hueningkai writing the rap and lyrics for “Lonely Boy.”
“Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go” credits Taehyun for both song and lyrics, while Beomgyu makes his return as producer for the first time in two years since “Maze in the Mirror.”
The EP has recorded over 1.4 million pre-orders in just 15 days, surpassing the band’s own record. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will release minisode 2: Thursday’s Child on May 9th via Big Hit Entertainment.
The group will host their first world tour this July as they announce the eight city TOMORROW X TOGETHER World Tour Act: Love Sick. The trek begins July 2nd with two consecutive dates in Seoul, then will be followed by seven cities in North America including Chicago on July 7th, New York City, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco before wrapping in Los Angeles on July 23rd.
