New live radio shows premiere this week

Amp, the new live radio app from Amazon, has announced an exciting schedule of upcoming live shows this week hosted by some of music’s most notable artists. This week’s lineup will feature new shows and unexpected guests from Travis Barker, Big Boi, Lil Yachty.

Lil Yachty’s The Boy with No Filter makes its debut on Wednesday, April 6th. The internet rapper turned creative mogul is known for his versatile lyrics and beats as well as his optimistic personality. Lil Yachty will jump on Amp to debut his live radio show, The Boy with No Filter, where he will discuss his current inspirations and interests in addition to inviting fans to call in and ask him questions. In between playing music, Lil Yachty will discuss what he’s been working on, including his own music and projects. Lil Yachty will host shows every other Wednesday on Amp.

Travis Barker Radio premieres Wednesday, April 6th at 11 pm ET/8 pm PT. Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker will jump on Amp to talk live with fans on his new live radio show. On Travis Barker Radio, he will embrace his punk roots by having live discussions around music, tattoos, culture and more along with playlists mixing new and classic songs of influence. For his debut show, he will be joined by guest and friend Machine Gun Kelly. Barker is a musician and producer who has sold millions of records with his bands Blink 182, Transplants, +44, and as a solo artist. Called one of the greatest drummers of all time, he has since established himself as an incredibly versatile drummer, producing and making guest appearances in music projects of numerous music genres including hip hop, alternative rock, pop, and country. Travis Barker will host live shows on Amp every Wednesday on Amp.

Big Boi’s Tales from the Mothership w/ @bigboi premieres on Thursday, April 7th. The diamond selling artist, rapper, songwriter, record producer, actor, philanthropist made history as the preeminent spitter of the Dungeon Family and one-half of OutKast. Big Boi will host his show Tales from the Mothership w/ @bigboi at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT. Join Big Boi live as he chronicles his journey to superstardom, the stories in between, and the trials and tribulations of being ‘Kast. From music, to film, to TV, to fashion, entrepreneurs, and forbearers of Kool, Big Boi explains the intricacies that define modernity and beyond. Big Boy will host live shows multiple times a month.

Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, Tinashe and Lindsey Stirling also have their own shows on Amp.
