The two authored an inside look at 80s rock

Nothin’ But A Good Time: The Uncensored History of the 80s Hard Rock Explosion, a new book that details the no-holds-barred oral history of hard rock and hair metal, is now available everywhere via St. Martin’s Press. Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock author the 560 page book that details the over-the-top escapades that define the glam rock era in the eyes of the rockers who lived it.

More than 200 interviews were conducted with members of Van Halen, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Guns N’ Roses, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Winger, Warrant, Cinderella, Quiet Riot and others, as well as Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford and many more. An impassioned foreword was written by Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor, who’s an avid glam metal fanatic.

The authors chat with Buddy Iahn and Matt Bailey about the inspiration behind the book while providing more insight into the work and passion that went into it. Full video is available below.
