Mass Appeal’s traveling museum continues through the end of April

Hip Hop Til Infinity: An Immersive Trip Across 50 Years of Hip Hop continues its run in Los Angeles through April 28th. The Mass Appeal-produced visual mixtape arrived in Los Angeles at 6400 Sunset Boulevard in January, where exhibit goers have enjoyed the trip down memory lane, being transported through rap’s different eras and regions – from the parks to the stage, to the Internet and beyond. Fever powers promotion and tickets to the exhibition, which are currently on sale at hiphoptilinfinityla.com.

Originally premiering in New York City, Hip Hop Til Infinity traveled across the country, mirroring hip-hop’s rise and spread. The exhibit, created in partnership with The Hip Hop Museum, is part visual voyage and part tactile experience showcasing the incredible influence hip-hop has had on culture over the past half-century. With the LA stop, the exhibit paid homage to the West Coast rappers who played an integral part in defining Cali rap, especially in its infancy. The exhibition features rare and collectible items from some of the West’s most respected names in hip-hop, including Death Row, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, Delicious Vinyl, KDAY, and many more.

To help capture the history and magic of Cali rap, Mass Appeal tapped hip-hop icon and California native Snoop Dogg as a contributor to the exhibition. In addition to Snoop’s contributing personal artifacts, the museum includes a gift shop where exclusive Doggystyle and Death Row merchandise are available for purchase.

Hip Hop Til Infinity is part of Mass Appeal’s ongoing Hip Hop 50 initiative – a massive cross-platform initiative that celebrates hip-hop’s momentous anniversary in the most authentic and globally impactful way possible by acknowledging and recognizing hip-hop as not only a genre but a movement that has impacted the worldwide community.
