The band’s double album features 20 songs

Multi-platinum rock group Sum 41’s final album, Heaven :x: Hell, has made the group’s last album chart debut globally. The 20-track double album debuts on the Billboard charts at No. 4 on the Top Current Album Sales, No. 5 on Top Album Sales, No. 6 on the Vinyl Albums, No. 11 on the Top Alternative Albums, No. 19 on the Top Rock Albums, No. 20 on the Independent Albums, No. 23 Top Rock & Alternative Albums, and No. 108 on the Billboard 200. Internationally, the album debuts at No. 4 in Germany, No. 8 in France, No. 26 in the UK, No. 37 in Canada, and No. 48 in Italy.

Released by BMG label Rise Records, the group previously scored their first No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart in more than two decades with the album’s lead single “Landmines,” chart week dated March 9, 2024. Nearly 22 and a half years since the band last topped the chart, the group made Billboard chart history by ending the longest stretch between Alternative Airplay No. 1s since the charts’ inception 36 years ago.

Currently, the song is No. 5 on both the Alternative Airplay and Rock & Alternative Airplay, No. 23 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay, and debuts at No. 44 on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.

In May 2023, the pop-punk group made a collective statement saying they would be disbanding after 27 years together. The group is currently performing on their 70+ confirmed date Tour of The Setting Sum final headlining world tour. The group kicked off their run of shows on March 1st with dates running throughout 2024 before their final show on January 30, 2025, in Toronto.
