Song is latest release from Body Language

Last month, superstar entertainer Blake Shelton announced that he would release his long-anticipated 12th studio album, Body Language, on May 21st via Warner Music Nashville. Fans who pre-order the package can instantly download No. 1 smash “Happy Anywhere” with Gwen Stefani, current single “Minimum Wage” and brand new ballad “Bible Verses.”

“No matter where you are in your faith, there are times you feel like you just don’t measure up,” Shelton shares of the new track. “‘Bible Verses’ is an honest take on that conflict but, without preaching too much, it’s hopeful that everything will all work out in the end.”

Since 2002, Shelton’s albums have spawned an almost unparalleled 28 chart-topping singles. The first of which, “Austin,” celebrated its 20th anniversary on April 16th. To commemorate the occasion, Shelton performed the star-making track on the 56th ACM Awards and launched the pre-order for a limited edition 7” “Austin” vinyl on his website. The vinyl features B-side track “Problems At Home” as it originally did almost two decades ago.

With more than five billion on-demand streams, 11 million career album sales in the US – so far – and award wins nearing the hundreds, Shelton has cemented his place in country music history. He continues to thrive, with his new single “Minimum Wage” now approaching Top 15 at country radio.

Beyond his country music career, the multi-media entertainer has earned widespread recognition as a seven-time champion coach for the Emmy Award-winning television show The Voice. The NBC singing competition is serendipitously in its 20th season. Shelton, a long-time Grand Ole Opry member, has also found success in his Ole Red partnership with Ryman Hospitality, with restaurant and venue locations currently in Tishomingo, Nashville, Gatlinburg and Orlando.
